Winter Parking in Minneapolis

We've had more than 70 inches of snow this winter, and the streets get a little narrower every time the plows go by. Our winter parking rules are somewhat counter-intuitive:
  • NO parking on the EVEN side of NON SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTES.
  • YES you can park on BOTH SIDES of SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTES.
  • These rules do NOT apply if a snow emergency is declared. Then there's a DIFFERENT set of rules. But don't worry about that unless we get a snow storm.
Snow emergency routes have blue street signs
Non-snow emergency streets have green or brown signs.

For more details click here.
And here's a map of the wedding site:

Red = Snow Emergency Route (Park on both sides)
Not Red = Residential Street (Park on the odd side ONLY)
"G" = Gale Mansion

The Gale Mansion is on the corner of Stevens Avenue South and East 22nd Street. Neither of these streets are snow emergency routes. So you'll see cars parked on just the odd side of the street.
